comp.os.linux.advocacy anyone?

Seriously,

Maybe during the great split of 93 we should have created a
    comp.os.linux.advocacy.  Was this even suggested?

It would be a good place to
    a) move the reoccuring DOS vs Windows vs Linux vs Joe vs the Volcano wars.
    b) a fun place to vent at the end of the day!!!

comp.os.linux.dos.windows.amiga.mac.tty.flame.flame.flame

                ian  (only slightly sarcastically... ;-)

I occasionally get the feeling that all of Usenet is a Linux advocacy group.

More fun, but I agree that we should have comp.os.linux.advocacy, so when
you are interested in Linux, you can discuss it here and when you want to
talk about how wonderful Linux is and watch the flame wars with DOS you can
go there.  (Don't I have an amazing grasp of teh obvious).  What I am
getting at is that I would be willing to handle the RFD and CFV for a new
group provided there is some interest.  If there is, I will write something
up, and talk to the UVV people.  Since I have never created a group before,
I hope this is interesting.
