Hi All,

I have been trying to get hold of graphing/data processing applications
that run under x.

I found two (robot and xvgr) both these applications use xview. I
installed xview and compliled the programs all went fine. However, when
I ran these programs they both soon killed the text in my X-windows
menus and tool bars (giving a MIGRAIN effect to the text)! The system is
otherwise well behaved.

Maybe this is nothing todo with xview.

Anyone experienced anything similar or know what the problem is?

two programs that use a lot are xmgr and tnimage...both are very
impressive.
