Databases for Linux?

Post by Hermann Himmelbau » Fri, 05 Jan 1996 04:00:00

Hi!
Are there any relational databases beside Postgres95
(commercial or free) available?
Perhaps even Oracle? Could you also please include where?

                Thank you in advance

P.S.: Please reply by mail!

1. Best Database for Linux ? (Paradox for Linux?)

I'm new to LINUX and XWindows, and I'm running the Linux-Mandrake 6.0
distribution w/ KDE.

I've a number of years of experience using Paradox for Windoze, and I'm
looking for the closest LINUX-capable database manager.  Being able to set
up forms is an absolute must !

Any advice or favorites ? (And, where can I find them ?)
