qmail-pop3d no $HOME/Maildir

qmail-pop3d no $HOME/Maildir

Anyone else get this error???  I can send/recieve mail via smtp but
not POP, I get a complaint about no $HOME/Maildir.  I ran makemaildir
and put Mailbox and Maildir in the profile.  

What did I miss???

It means that the user/home directory that checkpassword gives you
cannot find the Maildir that qmail-pop3d is looking for.  Are you the
only user with this problem, or is it everyone?  If it's just you,
then /var/qmail/bin/maildirmake ~/Maildir ought to fix it.

1. QMAIL unable to scan $HOME/Maildir and also not reeiving mails

Hi

Could any one help me .I was installin qmail 1.03 .After installation When i
tried to connect to the pop3 port its giving me the "unable to scan
$HOME/Maildir " fpr some accounts .The next problem is I can send a mail
from the server .But when i send a mail to that server , nothing comes to
the users mailbox .any one help me
