X-Window client for MS Windows

Post by Randy M. Na » Fri, 20 Oct 1995 04:00:00

I am looking for an X-Window client to run on MS Windows (any flavor - 3.1,
NT, 95).  Does anyone know if such a beast distributed on the Internet
(freeware or shareware).  I know there are commercial packages available, I'm
just wondering about "cheaper" alternatives.  Please send any/all info via
email.  Thanks, in advance, for all the help!

Try   http://www.starnet.com/

They have fairly good X server software for Windows and DOS.  I have used the
16 bit version for a while and it works ok.  I don't have the most recent
version though and would sudgent gettign that as I have had some problems with
the older version ie. not being able to run x-emacs and screen redraw on
Netscape.  The new version might fix some of these problems.
