Cheers to the WINE project!

Cheers to the WINE project!

I *just* installed the newest build of wine.  It is great! They fixed a
TON of problems and I would have to say that it is 15% os so from
actually being a PD WABI.

Please, do not give up on the WINE project just because WABI is ported
to linux!  There is no PD win16/win32 spec and it would help the
computer society as a whole to have one.  Also the WINE project has FAR
higher sights than WABI.  WABI is only setup for 16 applications (it
obviously runs more) that are 16 bit.  WINE is geared towards a full
emulation package.  Including win32.

So PLEASE keep up the good work...

Agreed with all said and I now use WABI, only on drawback with wine
currently is that you need a DOS partition, only found that out when I
moved to this machine without such a partition and could not try wine as
of old.

1. Wine,wine,wine - I need help with wine

Help
I down loaded and installed Wine to Linux 2.0.22 and Xwindows (XFree).
I think it's installed correctly.  I am getting a 'drive not found/path
not found' error.  I have my wine.conf in the right place (I think).
I'm using Win95 and hda3 and Linux on hda1.  I need a reality check.  Is
it hard to set up Wine?  Does someone have a working wine.conf file that
might guide me to a working wine.   Wine, wine, wine and beer. Ok I'll
stop wineing

Thanks
George
