Has anyone had problems compiling version 1.3.0 of Linux? I tried it 3 times
and no success yet! It tells me there is an undeclared variable in the
kernel.o file. The variable is, if my memmory serves me right,
authoritive_user something ... By the way, why is there a big difference
between the binaries of this version from tsx-11 and sunsite?

I got it to complile ok but ftape and ibcs would not compile...actually..I
think I did get ftape to work but no ibcs..then I went backward down to 1.2.9
until I could get both ftape and ibcs to work properly.

I did not notice the difference in size..on the sites..however I did not look.
I think I got my source from sunsite or gatech..Come to think of it..I did not
complie 1.3.0..only 1.3.1 (1.3.0 with patch for 1.3.1).

I am interested in finding out how to get ibcs to compile under 1.3.x..if you
or anyone can do it.

What I did was erase my linux source and replace it with the new before
starting..btw I am running gcc 2.6.3
