I want to build a minimal glibc from source code. but I don't konw how
to do . I only need file system, process control,memory manage and
some base services of OS. How can I build this glibc smaller than 3M?

Take a look at the most recent version of "Embedded Linux Journal"
(November/December issue).  There's a good article in there on paring
down glibc. In short, you'll need to profile all your applications to
find out what they need and then build glibc accordingly.

There's a mklibs.sh file in the Debian source that purports to minimize
your libraries. I'm giving it a shot now. If you have the Debian source
disks, its in the Source 3 disk, under
dists/stable/main/source/admin/boot_floppies_VERSION_gz.

Extract the tarball and take a look at the mklibs.sh script.

uClibc is a subset of the glibc library. So is diet-libc.

Both can manage above functions.
