by Does anyone else out there have a sound card w/ an Avance Sound
Chip/chipset? Does it work with Linux? Mine is on a really generic
sound card which is supposed to be an SB16 clone but doesn't quite seem
to be. Works fine in windows/dos. Can't adjust volume in Linux.
Has anyone else failed miserably at trying to get supposed SB16
compatible cards to work as SB16s in Linux?
My sound card is called a Diamond Media Lite. (nothing to do with
diamond multimedia).
