Sco filesystem & binaries under linux

Post by Carlo » Fri, 25 Apr 1997 04:00:00

Hi to all!

I'm trying to use the iCB2s module and linux
capability for running binaries SCO Unix sys V release 3.2
on a partition with fs GNU HURD (from linux's fdisk).

I've tried to mount the fs like sysv, ufs, coherent(?)...
but nothing! (the kernel is 1.2.13 and /proc/filesystem
        lists all those fs!).

        Is it possible or not????

        Thanks in advance

Last time I noticed, the docs on the SYSV filesystem for Linux said
it works only for floppies.

1. SCO binaries & Linux

This may have been posted before, but I was wondering if it is possible
to run SCO binaries on a Linux box, specifically, MS-FOXPRO for Unix.
Supposedly, Foxpro for unix is compiled for a certain version of SCO.  I
need to know if there is anyone out there doing this.  Also, if SCO
binaries will run, how reliable are they?
