Matching thread ids to process ids

Matching thread ids to process ids

Post by Rick Madd » Thu, 04 Jul 2002 01:09:09

I am runng jdk 1.3.1_03 on Linux 7.3. I have a java app that seems to have a
runaway thread. I did some thread dumps and it is not obvious to me which
thread is the problem. In Linux I run 'ps' and I see the process/thread that
is running away. My question is, how can I correlate the PID shown in the
output of 'ps' with a thread id (tid) in a Java thread dump?

Thanks for any insight.

Rick
