SCO - clean up the ghetto?

Is it practical to figure out how much code needs to be rewritten,
and to compare the current kernel code with the Unix source base,
and start flushing out the old bits?

This could be an excellent use of bandwidth, IMO.

Capitalism and freedom are all about the rule of law. I'd hate to be
labeled a communist by some semiilliterate hypocritical Gucci-wearing
halfwit on a fat corporate lobbying budget just because someone was
cavalier or insouciant about appropriating IP.

If push comes to shove, I'll open my (lean) pocketbook to whoever puts
up a valiant codefight.

You're assuming SCO's allegations are true. They're not. This is nothing
more than a publicity stunt funded by MS.

question:
Are there any scripts or other software permitting an automated
shutdown of a heterogeneous lan which includes a variety of                     hardware
