1. How to change color of marked text in a shell

I have changed the background color in my "winterm" shell to make it
less exhausting to my eyes.
However, text I have marked by dragging the mouse does not change color.
So I figured I have to change background color of marked text.  But I don't
know how.

Cut from .Xdefaults file:

winterm*font:                   -adobe-courier-bold-r-normal-20-140-100-100-m-110...
winterm*geometry:                       100*30
winterm*background:                     grey80
winterm*foreground:                     black
winterm*pointerColorForeground: royalblue
winterm*pointerColorBackground: green
winterm*cursorPageColor:                green

How can the color of marked text be specified here?
