Hi, people.

A new release of GNU `ptx' is now available for anonymous ftp from
prep.ai.mit.edu [18.71.0.38], in pub/gnu, as file ptx-0.4.tar.gz.
Thanks to all those who contributed comments or suggestions.

The program `ptx' produces a list of words in their context,
also called KWICs, or permuted indexes.  The GNU version extends
standard `ptx'.  Among other things, it can produce a readable output
without the need for nroff; there is also an option to produce TeX
compatible output.

Most reported problems are solved.  Some bugs or suggestions may

1. I need GNU (or others) make for SCO V5.0.4 pre-compiled?

Hello all,

My application software provider has recently switched to using make to
build the application from sources.   I have several clients who do not have
the development kit and therefore do not have make.  Is there a GNU (or any
others) that I could legally install on my client machines so that I can
re-build on their sites???

TIA,

Mark
