I just upgraded my kernel from 1.2.11 to 1.3.24. I noticed that there
were a lot of ERROR messages. Some of them that I have found the
workarounds are:
1. ERROR: the root partition is NOT readonly
SOLTN: run rdev -R <your image file to boot> 1
2. ERROR: /bin/setterm: Could not find terminal linux in termcap (or
something like that)
SOLTN: add the keyword "linux" in your /etc/termcap entry, so it'd
look like this => console|con80x25|dumb|linux:\
However I am still getting this everytime I boot up or shutdown my
linuxbox:
Sept 7 18:39:05 init[1]: Entering runlevel: 5

Weird - unlocked, clean and not uptodate buffer on list 0 b00 32
Anybody knows what this really means?
