TimesRoman PS Font Looks Different on my BJ-200

hi,

i've got a Canon BJ-200 bubble jet printer, and i've noticed that the
timesroman font looks different on paper than if i send the postscript
file to a campus printer. it's a little "shorter" than what i think
it's supposed to be. do i have something set up wrong? or is this the
result of my printer driver? the result of ghostscript?

is there anything i can do about it?
