SCO mouse

I apologize if it isn't the -right- ng to post this article, but I
know Linux people are really great!
So, i just installed SCO Open Server v.5.0; nice, indeed, even
if...more than one hour to install!!
Now, the fact is: the mouse doesn't work :-(
I've got a simple Logitech two-button mouse, and: as soon as the GUI
interface comes on, the mouse starts to move, even if reallly NOT with
fluidity; and, after a couple of "jumps" on the screen, it doesn't
work more.
I tried to install the systrem twice, cchoosing microsoft moouse and
than llogitech mouse: the results are always the same.
So that, on the beautiful desktop I'm not able to click over
something, and I can't access to the top menu via the shortcuts on the
keybord a la Windows, like Ctrl-O or Alt-O to go in "Options", for
example.
I'm experienced in Linux, indeed, but I'm not succeeding in making
this beautiful SCO work! And it's urgent it to go right...
I hope someone could help me. Maybe is something stupid I didn't
notice: I'm sorry, but I really can't recognize the problem.
Thanks a lot from a Unix genuine enthusiast!
