In your smb.conf file, set
security = server
password server = PDC_NAME_GOES_HERE
Of course, substitute the name of your PDC for "PDC_NAME_GOES_HERE"

Subject: | NT Primary Domain Controllers |
The following message appeared in the event log of the NT Primary domain controller
"The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer WASLINUX1 that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_MDGMPORT1. The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced."
Of course, the NT admins would like not to keep forcing master browser elections on the PDC. Any ideas?
