XFree 86 (Ver. 3.2-5 (RedHat 4.1)) and AST Ascentia 900N (Laptop)

which is the best laptop site I've seen. It has mini-HOWTOs on
three AST Ascentia models. Not yours, but you might find something
helpful there. Also check out the XFree86 section of
http://www.aa.net/~swear/pedia/x.html for docs on mode lines, etc.

Does anybody has experiences with Linux on the notebook

Ascentia 900N with 10.4'' TFT color monitor by
AST computer?

We are especially interested in the HW compatibility with the
XFree software and in network connectivity.
