XFree86 3.1.1 and xlock

Post by Matthew Kis » Thu, 09 Mar 1995 04:21:54

Hello all,

I just installed XFree 3.1.1 from 1.2  My hat goes off to the hard working
people who write and package it.  It took me a mere 20 minutes to install
and configure.  Its great!

I have a question.  I noticed that xlock is not in any of the tar files.
I tried using my old version of xlock, but it wants the old libraries back.
I don't want to keep the old libraries, I want to use the new ones!  Can
anyone tell me where I can get it?  I can't find the source for it anywhere.
Do I just get the xlock for version 3.1?

Thanks in advance

1. xlock patch for RS/6000 (Was: Re: xlock compilation)

cleaned up my patch to xlock-2.3 for the IBM RS/6000, and placed it on
export.lcs.mit.edu as contrib/xlock-2.3-rs6000.patch.

  The environment I have is:

IBM RS/6000 550, AIX 3.1.6, bsdcc (as defined by /usr/lpp/bos/bsdport),

The port depends on "AIXV3" being defined.

  Hope it helps :)
