RedHat 6.2 user here.
I just upgraded some various RPMs on my box. In particular, I installed:
- db3-3.1.17-4.6x
- db3-devel-3.1.17-4.6x
- db3-utils-3.1.17-4.6x
(among others) and upgraded to:
- rpm-4.0.2-6x
- gnorpm-0.95.1-5.6x
(among others).
When I try to run gnorpm, this is the message I get:
"gnorpm: error in loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/librpm.so.0: undefined
symbol: fdio"
Also, I'm trying to upgrade my kernel, and when I run the following:
"rpm -ivh kernel-2.2.19-6.2.1.i386.rpm"
I get a segmentation fault.
I can stand not being able to use fancy UI utils like gnorpm, but I have to
be able to use RPM to upgrade packages as needed. Any thoughts on what's
wrong?
Dean.
