encrypt available?

I tried to search 'encrypt' on www.linux.org, but no result. Is there
any similar tool as 'encrypt' on Sun machines that we can use on Linux
to add some encryption? Thanks.

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I suggest taking
a look at PGP. It's designed for public-key-based message exchange,
but it can do conventional encryption as well. Take a look at:
   http://www.pgpi.com/
   comp.security.pgp.*
   alt.security.pgp
