isolinux & creating my own distribution

Hello
I compiled my kernel (vmlinuz) and created rootfs.gz (my root file system):

total 25570
drwxr-xr-x    3 root     root          296 Feb 11 14:12 ./
drwxr-xr-x   13 high     high          960 Feb 11 14:32 ../
drwxr-xr-x    2 root     root          112 Feb 11 14:12 isolinux/
-r-xr-xr-x    1 high     high          349 Jan 14 10:59 message*
-r-xr-xr-x    1 high     high      8388608 Jan 14 10:59 rootfs.gz*
-r-xr-xr-x    1 high     high          100 Jan 14 10:59 simplix.cd*
-r-xr-xr-x    1 high     high       984943 Jan 14 10:59 vmlinuz*

total 17
drwxr-xr-x    2 root     root          112 Feb 11 14:12 ./
drwxr-xr-x    3 root     root          296 Feb 11 14:12 ../
-r-xr-xr-x    1 high     high         9400 Feb 11 14:43 isolinux.bin*
-r-xr-xr-x    1 high     high          108 Feb 11 14:38 isolinux.cfg*

DISPLAY message
DEFAULT linux
TIMEOUT 100
LABEL linux
KERNEL vmlinuz
APPEND initrd=root.img root=/dev/ram

after that i created iso, and burned it on cd:

isolinux/boot.cat -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table `pwd`

And when i try to boot my system, isolinux appears:
ISOLINUX......(and info about author etc..)
Could not find kernel image: vmlinuz
Boot:

Does anybody know why ? Is it ISOLINUX configuration mistake or
rather kernel comfiguration/compilation problem ?

Thanx
Michal

I think your isolinux.cfg seems to indicate that vmlinuz should be in
/isolinux (i.e. in the same directory in which isolinux.cfg is).
Try changing that to /vmlinuz,  or moving the vmlinuz file to the
/isolinux directory.
