Try yard and yard-prefabs in sunsite.unc.edu:/pub/Linux/system/Recovery
Yard-prefabs has a set of spec files for Redhat which should work for
3.0.3 (if that's the 2.x kernel).

Whether Yard is easy to use is a matter of opinion.  Looks like the other
disk-creation packages haven't been updated for a few years, so Yard may be
the only one that works with kernels past 1.2.13.

I don't specifically know about RedHat, but check on a sunsite mirror
for yard. That package can help you build a set of rescue disks (boot/
root) that should work with about any distribution.

I've used it on Linux Universe, and probably will on Redhat once it
get it installed.

1. Gated errors with RH3.0.3

I downloaded the rpm for gated-R3_6Alpha_1-2 and installed it. It does not
run properly, leaving the trace file /etc/rc.d/init.d/start looking as

Does anyone know why I am getting the "No such file or directory" error?
My gated.conf contains only rip = yes;

Thanks guys
