I've found Bootit Direct to be quite useful. I've installed this in my
MBR, with LILO in the superblock of hdb. It's shareware ($15 for
registration after 2 months or so), must be installed from DOS or Win95,
but after this recognizes and boots any partition. Decent alternative
if you want to avoid both a boot disk and the user-unfriendliness of
LILO.
