Ive got a parallel port scanner which Id like to run under linux.
Unfortunatly I dont know of any program to support a device on the
parallel port but only on scsi. Ive been trying with "sane" but
I didnt get anywhere.
I hope someone could give me an idea on how to do it.

1. parallel port printer and parallel port superdisk
I have only one parallel port, is there any problem switching them back
and forth? I used "alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc" in conf.modules to
get the
printer recognized, will connecting the superdisk disable the printer
even after I switch it back?
