Minicom 1.70 & Screen colors

Minicom 1.70 & Screen colors

Post by Eric Hsi » Sat, 20 May 1995 04:00:00

I'm running Minicom 1.70 as root and when I change the default screen colors
in the configuration than save it as dfl, it doesn't retain my changes. I
start up minicom again and it reverts to its original (and ugly) screen
colors.

Please go and get the new version 1.71
ftp.cistron.nl
/People/miquels/minicom-1.71.tar.gz which has some other nice features
as well.
As miquels wrote the new minicom he only had a monochrome monitor and
couldn't check the actual colors ... ;-)

BTW there is also a new SysVinit (2.57) there ... (not for beginners..)

Grab the source and hard code the colors you want in there.  That's the only
way I got them to work.  What's the matter?  Don't like green?
