Very Computer

If this is a FAQ please direct me to it.

I just ran make config (in order to set up my
soundblaster pro) and it just does not work.
Every time I restart after making the changes,
the changes are not recognized.  The setting for
the sound blaster are the default ones (I checked it
out with it's set up) in linux.

Any help is appreciated
