Hello,

I've just installed netscape. It's very nice. At the lab I got
the news threaded. At home I didn't. Netscape says that the
nntp server doesn't understand the XOVER command. Where can
I get such a nntpd ?

nntp-1.5.12 contains an XOVER capable nntpd. I got a copy from
a sunsite.unc.edu mirror, archie found it for me (looking for 1.5.12).
However, I had to make some cruel hacks to get it to compile for
Linux, notably routines for checking disk space and load average (I
quickly munged them to return OK and 0).

If anyone produces an 'official', or at least complete, port to Linux
I'd be happy to know what the patches are!
