I have a Packard Bell Pentium 100MHZ and it comes w/ a quad speed cdrom. I called Packard Bell to get the model number and they
gave me a bunch of bull. They said it was a "specially made" cdrom by NEC and there is no model associated with it?
So, I of course poped the cover and noticed it was a NEC Model 271. Does anyone know of a driver that would work? I have tried about
all of the ones that came w/ the 2.1 Slackware distribution?
Any hints Linux gurus?
