Loading Symbolic Map

Post by Pete » Mon, 14 Jun 1999 04:00:00

Dear follow Linux Guru,

Please give me your thoughts on the following:

I wish to be able to display "Line characters" on the console  (eg  0xC4,
0xB4, 0xC2  etc )

In RedHat Ver 5,2 i did this with the following command

setfont -m /lib/ld-linux.so.1

Under RedHat Ver 6 it does'nt want to work and complains with this message

Warning: this is a shell wrapper; consider using consolechars(8)
Error parsing symbolic map

Any sugestions will be greatly appreciated
