I can't seem to get bzip2 to work with Xman. I specified .bz2 as an
extention in /usr/lib/man.config, and it works in text mode man pages.
But xman doesn't seem to know how to uncompress the file, and it prints
out gibberish. Does anyone know about xman?
Also, when using bzip2 to compress my man pages, I can't create symbolic
links to pages, ie: mail.1.bz2 -> mailx.1.bz2
This time the man utility tells me that the page does not exist when
indeed it does. This works fine with gzip.
Why am I trying to use bzip2 instead of gzip? I'm working on an old
PS/2 with 200meg drive. I'm trying to squeeze all the disk space I can
out of it.
