I know not of any FAQs but this seems to work for me
at the "#" prompt type route del default press return or enter
run the pppd script with a few modifications.
pppd connect ' chat -v -t 40 ""ATDT*70,your local cserve tel# CONNECT "
ame:-BREAK-ame:cis ID:your cserve ID choice:-BREAK-choice:-BREAK-choice:
/GO:PPpCONNECT ' \
/dev/modem (or /dev/cua0 or 1 or 2 etc ) modem speed -detach
debug crtscts netmask 255.255.0.0 modem
PPP comes with a sample file that can be modified to reflect the changes
needed.
you will need to include compuserves name servers in your
/etc/resolv.conf file and your /etc/hosts file
