Dear All
I have hylafax v3p11 running under linux, kernal 1.3.100.
the faxsend process keeps zombiefying,
if i attach strace to it it says PANIC and dies, this sometimes causes
faxsend to start with another zombiefyed process.
othertimes it starts and processes the fax ok.
i have checked the hylafax mailing list and so far no one with this
prob, ill post to them as well.
please email me direct if you have any ideas.

ps ive tried compiling this with 2.70 and 2.72 gcc,
im just starting to think hylafax was a bad idea............

There was a hint in the Changes-File of my 2.0.0 Kernel. You will have to
change the FIFO mode to READWRITE. Then everything is OK.
