[ My apologies if this is the second time this has been posted. The news
server here said the first one failed ]
I'm running a 1.2.7 kernel, perl 5.000, the NCSA httpd-1.3 server, Mosaic-2.5.
I grabbed SATAN-1.1.1 and the satan-1.1.1.linux.diff.gz file from sunsite.
satan compiles alright (after doing the reconfig, of course).
The SATAN control panel fires up, no problem. But looking at the URL's for
the various setup/run options, there's junk (cookie ?) in the URL, and the URL
never gets found.
I next went and edited out the password variable (don't remember the variable
name) from the HTML_SERVER= entry in satan-1.1.1/perl/html.pl.
This made the URL's on the control panel look right after I fired it up again,
but then I get an error about GET < the URL > not properly authenticated, or
something close to that.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong ? I suspect it's something in my httpd
configuration, but can't figure out what it is.
I've seen a number of messages from people that said after patching, they
got 1.1.1 to run fine. I'm curious how they did that.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
