my resources keep unmounting themselves

my resources keep unmounting themselves

Post by rocket gir » Wed, 16 Jun 1999 04:00:00

I keep having to remount my /cdrom.
How did I inadvertantly*this one up?

Same with the /home directories.

In fact, my YaST on SuSE doesn't allow me to set the filesystem attributes

1. Can't unmount filesystem: resource busy

I have created a new filesystem, copied data to it and when I try to
unmount it, it says that the resource is busy.  The copy is complete, no
apps are using the filesystem, there are no links, my pwd is my home
directory, I am root, fuser show's nothing is using it, and lsof shows
nothing.  This is a normal jfs filesystem. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help.
