Tape Backup under Suse 6.0 with a SCSI Tape

Tape Backup under Suse 6.0 with a SCSI Tape

Post by Michael Scheferhof » Wed, 25 Aug 1999 04:00:00

Hallo,

I want to backup my files with a SCSI tape under Suse 6.0 and I don't
know how to do this. One tape is able to store about 3,5 GB. The only
thing I know of the tape is that it is called DDS2.

Thanks,

Michael

$ tar cvf /dev/st0 <some thing to backup>
