Sounds really nice. However, is there any information on how to
actually make the menus appear? I have tried numerous approaches, but
I can not get any menus to appear. Any magic buttons to activate them?
Any magic command line parameters? Any magic entries in .Xdefaults (I
have tried the menu setting, but have not gotten it to work).

Could somebody post an example of some simple dummy menu that should
appear in a normal rxvt shell (without any applications running)?

So it seems the new default is to have the menubar activated. I still
have not been able to get rxvt to show any menus, though.. Thanks for

   ./configure --enable-menubar

 For other options, try  ./configure --help
