Hey all,
Think someone could help me with what the freak a Ramdisk is?  (It is
asked for from Slackware 3.0.0 installation)

I know what the boot and root disks are...

386sx16, 5MB RAM installing onto a 500+ meg partition.
Bare 1.2 Meg Bootdisk
Text 1.2 Meg Rootdisk

Thnx: respond in email please.

It's the rootdisk - Slackware has always had this peculiar dual
reference in the documentation; just boot, stick in the other disk when
prompted and happy trails!!
