Tux graphic on boot

MSNBC (http://www.msnbc.com/ says that, among other things, the below is
present on the new kernel 2.2.1:

Graphics standardization: A new "frame-buffer console"
driver provides a uniform graphical subsystem
across all
Linux ports. Best of all, if provides a cute
Linux penguin (his
name is Tux) logo upon boot-up.

I did compiled and installed the 2.2.1 and I have not seen any logo. What am
I missing?

A thorough reading of the kernel documentation,
e.g. linux/Documentation/fb/*?

"Oh, sure, Dave, whatever...you _do_ know what that does, right?"

1. Tux graphics

Where can I get hold of some Tux and/or BSD demon pictures in a vector format?

I found an Illustrator/EPS Tux but that was mono and had corrupt paths!

I want to do some cartoons/wallpaper etc. but all I can find are tiny
[icon-size] GIFs/XBMs, I found one decent JPEG Tux.

Cheers ;o)
