by I have 2 machines in my apartment, one machine is sharing it's drive
with the other.
whever machine 2 accesses the drive on machine one (nfs mount), machine
1 attempts a DNS query (reverse look up ) on machine 1, over my ppp
connection. Needless to say, this delay is horrible (this didn't
happen, before I upgrade with the slackware release).
I haven't seen any details on where to turn this off, any suggestions?
