I am stumped about what the /var/adm/syslog is telling me. I get
the following entries intermittantly:
Mar 3 11:18:00 abtech kernel: eth0: Too much work at interrupt, status
0x41
Mar 3 11:18:00 abtech kernel: eth0: Too much work at interrupt, status
0x01
Mar 3 14:52:03 abtech kernel: eth0 Too much work at interrupt, status
0x41
Mar 3 14:52:03 abtech kernel: eth0 Too much work at interrupt, status
0x01
Mar 3 14:52:03 abtech kernel: eth0 Too much work at interrupt, status
0x01
Mar 3 15:00:03 abtech kernel: eth0 Too much work at interrupt, status
0x01
Mar 3 15:00:03 abtech kernel: eth0 Too much work at interrupt, status
0x40
Mar 3 15:24:03 abtech kernel: eth0 Too much work at interrupt, status
0x41
There is more but all are pretty much the same as above. The kernel is
Linux 1.2.3, the ethernet card is an SMC Ultra attached to the network
by 10baseT. This server is used as the company ftp server running the
wu-ftp shadow package.
This seems to have no detrimental effect on operations, but I need to
know if it is a sign of impending equipment failure...
Thanks
