In the preamble (just before \begin{document}) enter
\renewcommand{\baselinestretch}{2}
to double-space your document.
BTW, you'll have better luck by posting TeX/LaTeX questions
to comp.text.tex
Hope this helps,

Another question along the same lines:

Does anyone know how to do double spacing for a Netscape document, other
than putting in lots of <br> codes?
