Dear Colleagues,
I need a real arabic support on any version of LINUX.
Any help will be greatlly appreciated, what i need is just to edit files
in Arabi.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Try MULE (MUlti-Lingual Emacs).  The  19.34 version supports inputting
and displaying  of Arabic (without the  diacritics for  short vowels).
It supports right-to-left editing, too!

The newest series,  version 20.x,  of GNU Emacs  and  XEmacs have both
incorporated the MULE capabilities.  So,  they can now display  arabic
characters in X or a terminal supporting Arabic characters..  However,
I cannot find any support for inputting  Arabic in version 20.2 of GNU
Emacs.   Maybe, there are   some  technical problems  that the   Emacs
programmers could not  solve   yet.    So, although Arabic  text    is
displayed correctly in Emacs 20.2, no inputting can be done.
