1. How do I access IO port under linux?

Dear Netter:
I am trying to port a program from DOS to linux. I need to access the
IO ports of a PC-card with the inport, outputb, inportw, and outportw functions,
provided in <dos.h> in DOS compiler.

Does this function provided under Linux? Or, How do I do it if there's not?
