 I have a red hat linux 5.2 on 486 machine. This morning

some error messages show up on the screen says:

neighbor table overflow, when I try to reboot, it says

no buffer space. Now I couldn't login anymore.

  Thank you for your advice!

1. RPC error neighbour table overflow

Hello,

I'm setting up a network with a SuSe 6.1 distribution on a server. The
ethernet card is working (I can ping other users on the network), but
I keep having the following error messages at boot time :

Starting RPC portmap daemonneighbour table overflow
neighbour table overflow
Cannot register service: RPC: Unable to send; errno= No buffer
space available unable to register (UGIDPROG, UGIDVERS, UDP)

....Then I have a NFS server error (as portmap wasn't initialised), like
this :

Starting NFS server Cannot register service: RPC: Unable to send;
errno= No buffer space available
Cannot register service: RPC: Unable to send; errno= No buffer space
available

... finally a message indicates

Failed service in runlevel 3: rpc nfsserver

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA
