Have there been any reported problems with the Quantum 1800megs drive in
conjunction with the ADaptec 1542CF?

1. Can linux support LARGE ide drives like the quantum bigfoot 19.2GB???

I'm setting up a system to dish out tons of info but need to know if
linux can support really large IDE harddrives like the quantum bigfoot
19.2GB? I know that some system require a software-based bios
upgrade... but is that enough for linux? Or does it need it at all?
