1. Any good front end rapid GUI development systems out there?

I'm wanting to dive into Linux and MySql. I don't want to spend alot of time
on a user interface initially. Are there any good "Visual C++ type" programs
in existance, that I can use to rapidly build a simple GUI interface? Any
suggestion will be appreciated. TIA.
