Working Xconfig for STB 5434 card

OK, so many people have asked for it, so here's my little contribution
to the world...  This is a working Xconfig for the STB 5434 PCI
graphics card that Gateway insists on shipping with their PCI machines
like the P4D-66.

First, a warning about running Linux on this box:

Old versions can't see the 730 meg EIDE HD in it!  I have Linux (.99)
on a second 200-megger...

The NEC IDE CD-ROM that ships with it is crap.  Don't expect too
much...

This video card (and the Gateway monitor, for that matter) is *
too.  They work, but I don't reccommend higher than 800x600...

here it is:

With 2Mb installed (64-bit memory interface) the Cirrus 5434 is close
to the S3-864 in performance (although not in XFree86 yet).

You seem to be using XFree86 2.1.x, which does not officially support
the 5434 (it required the "no_bitblt" option).

XFree86 3.1 supports the 5434 (including 16/32bpp with linear addressing).
