Happy Holidays Everyone! Please join us for our annual holiday party,
Wednesday, December 19, 2001. First there will be a technical presentation
by AMD (www.amd.com) at the IBM building. AMD's chipset architecture will
be covered and we'll check out some hot new dual Athlon servers.

At the conclusion of the meeting, everyone will receive a special NYLUG
nametag to write your name and email address and gain entrance to the
Holiday Party held a few blocks away at the Old Stand Bar & Restaurant.
Please note that you can not access the party unless you have your
sticker.

In addition to food, festive music, general merriment, and of course,
lots of keysingings; you will spot friends from the mailing list that
you wouldn't otherwise recognize in-person.

Last year's holiday party was a great success, and lucky raffle winners
took home VA Linux workstations. This year AMD is treating us to a
spread at The Old Stand, and is buying everyone the first round (Thanks
AMD!) and cash bar for the remainder of the night.

2001 has been a difficult year for our area. Come, spend some time with
your fellow nyluggers, lift your glass and toast with us!
